House was broken into yesterday, my d300 with my 80-200 2.8 on it,and the d70s were both stolen along with my bike - all uninsured.
Lucky for me, I just bought 500 sheets of darkroom paper..

I seem to have been quiet of late. Many things in my life are happening now, and it's time to fill people in.
Since the start of the year I've been studying Graphic Design at my local tafe, which is great fun, and a real strange step away from the camera. I've met some great people there, and am also becoming bogged down in assesments.
On the photography front I have 2 new toys to tell the great world about:
1. The Darkroom - I've been building this darkroom under the house since about september last year when I was overcome by a crazy idea late one night to put up some walls and casually "make a darkroom".

Recently i've been using my film cameras rather than just appreciating them, and i've also tried my luck with some equipment i've never used before. 3 rolls of film is the by-product.
Coming soon you will see my B&W results from my Nikon f4, and see what happens when i use a tamron 11-18mm intended for a DX sensor on a 35mm film. Fisheye.
Another 12exp roll of film was thrown into a very old and batterd Pentax sportmatic with ancient Carl Zeiss lense + bellows attached on the front. This setup im improvising with - macro stuff only.
